I wasn't 100% sure where to put this thread, and this seemed like the best place. If I take a ranger as a secondary, and capture a pet that's already level 20, can I just immediately go put it in my Hall of Heroes, or do I have to do something special?

Also, if I take the ranger secondary away from the character, will the pet still remain in the HoH regardless?

Yes.

For putting a level 20 pet in the HoM, you get a generic pet statue. After getting that statue, you can only add some prestige pets (Black Moa, Imperial Phoenix, Black Widow) to get another statue.

Edit: The pet also needs to have an evolution (Elder, Dire, Hearty, Aggressive, Playful) to be added.
